Why Hanuri Korean exists
Hanuri (한우리) means we and our Korean. The app is for beginners and exam learners who want a serious offline dictionary, a Foundations path from Hangul, deep grammar, clear AI explanations, contextual translation, and calm focus.
The name is two Korean words. 한 is the 한 in Korea and Hangul, and it also means one and great. 우리 means we, us, and our. Together they are the reason the product exists: Korean as a language you learn with other people and then treat as your own.
Most Korean learning apps lean hard on tiny vocab decks. Useful, but incomplete. Hanuri starts with substance: more than 53,000 offline dictionary entries, 400+ grammar points, and Foundations for people who still need Hangul and day-one Korean.
Select a phrase to analyze, Ask a tutor to explain the rule, translate with meaning intact, build sentences, then keep going with stories, speaking, listening, flashcards, and TOPIK practice.
